Students and AlumniDear Students and Alumni, For 15 years, the CEMS alliance has been running its annual career forum. In 2009, it became a highly successful stand-alone two-day event. In 2010, it will aim higher still! CEMS Career Forum is an ideal opportunity for students and young alumni to meet and interact with many leading global companies, learn more about opportunities for internships and permanent employment, and broaden their network. The CEMS Career Forum 2010 will take place in Budapest, Hungary. CEMS Corporate Partners will be present at the Career Forum and may propose different internship and job offers to CEMS students and alumni. Pre-scheduled and walk-in interviews will take place on Saturday 13th November. A dedicated CP stand area will be set up to facilitate student and alumni interaction with corporate partners. In addition, half-day accredited skills seminars will be organised in cooperation with CEMS Alumni, Corporate Partners and the Corvinus University of Budapest on Friday 12th November. This is an ideal opportunity to get to know the representatives of the company of your interest and to enhance your network. Please note that the skill seminars will be assigned on a “First-come, First-served” basis. Also, a number of career guidance group sessions will be organised in cooperation with external career consultants on Friday 12th, in the afternoon. The registration to career guidance group sessions will open in October 2010 and will be available to CEMS Students. CEMS Students and Alumni can have walk-in interviews on the day of the job fair, on Saturday 13th November. Walk-in interviews are arranged on site and enable company representatives to talk with candidates in a more relaxed way. CEMS Students and Alumni also have the opportunity to participate in the company presentations of the CEMS Corporate Partners. These will take place on the day of the job fair, on Saturday 13th November. CEMS Students and, for the first time this year, CEMS Alumni (0 to 4 years after graduation) can apply for pre-scheduled interviews with companies up until 6th September 2010. Companies will then select students and alumni for interviews, and CEMS Head Office will coordinate and schedule the interviews for the day of the job fair.
