Corporate Social Responsibility |
The nurturing of young talent is included in the CSR portfolios of an increasing number of organisations. Increasing numbers of corporations advocate the role they must play in shaping a better future for the youth of today. Involvement in the CEMS network can translate that sentiment to action: corporate involvement in the governing bodies of CEMS can allow you to shape the future of European management education. In doing so, it is possible to influence the horizons available to young talent from all over the globe and promote diversity and excellence in Europe. Moreover, concrete involvement in the CEMS MIM (Master’s in International Management) can enable companies to enrich the students’ knowledge and skills. Students can thus emerge from their studies better equipped to handle a world characterised by change and uncertainty.

A Company Showcase: Pan-European Exposure |
Few networks have the geographical scope of the CEMS alliance: from Budapest to Bergen, from Dusseldorf to Dublin, from Shanghai to Stockholm…… In addition, CEMS has developed unique expertise in managing such a geographically diverse network. The central organisational unit, the CEMS European Office, in close liaison with dedicated CEMS units in member schools, is responsible for maintaining a productive and efficient information flow among all stakeholder groups. As such, with Corporate Partners we identify the actions most suited to your needs and that fit best with the resources available within your organisation (geographical, skill-based, etc.). We then facilitate the implementation of this action plan on a pan-European basis.
Your action plan may be rooted in a desire to raise your brand recognition in markets where you are not historically a household name; you may wish to alter or refine existing perceptions; you may seek to promote your employer brand to future recruits. Whatever your motivation, CEMS may be an appropriate means for you to open a gateway to 17 prestigious European schools.
Beyond featuring prominently in all CEMS promotional, online and printed material, CEMS Corporate Partners may choose to intervene in the CEMS calendar in a variety of ways:
skills seminars |
company testimonials (CEMS courses or Blocked Seminars) |
involvement in student selection |
business projects |
participation at CEMS events (local and pan-European) |

Access to an exclusive pan-European Career Forum |
The CEMS Career Forum takes place each year on the first Saturday in December. A different European member school hosts the event each year. The Career Forum is open exclusively to CEMS Corporate Partners, students and alumni. On average, the Forum welcomes 900 people in the course of the day.
Participating companies can avail of a combination of tools to optimise their participation at the event:
information stands: all participating companies are provided with a stand where students and alumni can meet with your company representatives and collect information brochures; |
walk-in interviews: a space is reserved away from the hustle and bustle of the Forum main location where you can discuss in more depth a candidate’s profile and their suitability for opportunities within your organisation; |
pre-scheduled interviews: in the three months preceding the event, we invite CEMS students to apply for interviews with the companies participating at the event. You can assess their applications and select short-listed candidates for interviews via the online database on the CEMS website. All scheduling and other logistic issues are managed centrally by the CEMS organisation leaving you the time and energy to focus on the candidates on the day. |

Benchmarking & Networking |
| The CEMS network provides companies with a unique opportunity to forge links in both the academic and corporate world on a pan-European basis. We facilitate this network effect by providing forums for exchange at many different levels including
local networking events scheduled in each member country; |
bi-annual benchmarking meetings with Corporate Partner main contacts; |
senior representation on the CEMS Board level where company board members can meet and exchange with Deans of our member schools and other senior corporate representatives. |
| |
| The extent to which Corporate Partners engage in each of these four major lines of action can differ very much from one company to the next. Our relationship with our Corporate Partners is not static and evolves over time. Corporate Partner feedback is crucial to enhance the performance of our network. |
