The HandiKapp-Nord Project is a 4650 kilometers’ adventure in the Northern countries to collect funds for the spinal cord research. I am leaving on my own from Paris (see the map below), handbiking through Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden.
The payee of this challenge will be the ICM (www.icm-institute.org)

| This is a handbike, its motion comes from the strength of your arms and its weight is a bit more than 15 kilos. To carry my stuff (wheelchair, clothes and gear) I am adding a trailer that will hopefully not weight more than 40 kilos. When you compare the size of your thigh and the size of your arms, you understand the difference of strength and thus how difficult it is to climb uphill… |
