This year’s CEMS Nordic Forum was held from April 26th to 29th at Copenhagen Business School, where 120 students enjoyed nine skill seminars, two company presentations, corporate stands, and the premiere of the CEMS Talks, a Student Board Representatives initiative where CEMS alumni held fascinating talks on the theme of the forum. The event ended with a closing gala attended by around a hundred CEMSies, providing them with networking opportunities and a chance to have fun.
The event spanned four days and covered the topic of “Managing in Uncertain Times”. The global pandemic, the war between Ukraine and Russia, climate change, and a significant energy crisis have all led to increased uncertainty within the business world. Managers need to consider these events when making everyday decisions, and the event aimed to explore the tools they use and how they mitigate the risks that follow the uncertainty. The event provided a platform for students and managers to share their experiences and best practices in dealing with uncertainty and risk management, allowing them to learn from each other and improve their decision-making processes. Ultimately, this will help businesses navigate the challenges of an unpredictable global environment.
The CEMS Nordic Forum was a great success, as it not only provided a platform for discussing important topics but also facilitated the exchange of ideas and experiences among CEMS students and alumni. The event demonstrated the strength of the CEMS community and its commitment to promoting excellence in management education.
