Shaping the CEMS Experience: The Role of the Student Board

Within the CEMS Global Alliance, the Student Board serves as a vital channel for the voices and aspirations of CEMS students. Composed of a dedicated representative from each of the 33-member schools, this board functions as a powerful advocate, project manager, and facilitator, all with the singular objective of enriching the CEMS experience for every student.  As the CEMS alliance continues to evolve, the Student Board remains poised to ensure that the student voice remains at the forefront, shaping a future where every CEMS student thrives.

The mission of CEMS Student Board is multifaceted, encompassing three key pillars:

Championing Student Improvement

• Gathering Feedback and Driving Change: The student board bridges the student body and CEMS administration by collecting student opinions on the MIM program and community life. This feedback is turned into actionable recommendations to improve the curriculum, student support, and inclusivity within the CEMS community. 
• Promoting Social Responsibility: The student board prioritizes ethical leadership and global citizenship by championing projects that raise social and ethical awareness. Through workshops, sustainability discussions, and initiatives addressing global challenges, they embed these values into the CEMS experience, empowering students to lead responsibly and create positive change.
• Representing Student Interests on the Global Stage: The student board represents CEMS students to key stakeholders, including academic institutions, corporate partners, and CEMS administration. Through clear communication, we ensure student needs and aspirations shape the CEMS experience.

Global Project Management for Direct Impact

The student board manages projects aimed at enhancing the student experience at all CEMS institutions. These projects could range from organizing international conferences that foster collaboration and knowledge exchange between students from different schools, to developing online resources that provide vital academic and career guidance.

Empowering Local CEMS Clubs

CEMS schools thrive on vibrant student communities, supported by local CEMS Clubs. The student board supports these clubs by facilitating communication, sharing resources, and promoting best practices. This strengthens local student experiences while fostering global connections among CEMS students.
