Over 80 participants from all over Europe came over to Vienna to spend a magical weekend, rich in cultural and social events. For some participants, it was not the first time – CEMSies in Vienna were very happy to welcome them again.
This special weekend started on Friday evening with a traditional Austrian dinner with specialties such as Wiener Schnitzel and later continued with drinks in one of the best locations in the city—Wein & Co. in front of St. Stephen's Cathedral! Saturday was genuinely devoted to the ball: first, there was a crash course to learn or refresh the waltzing skills. In 60 minutes, all participants could dance like professionals! After a guided tour, it was time to start the preparations!
All participants met again in the evening for drinks and snacks in a modern restaurant before heading to the emperor's palace - Hofburg. They were all beautiful, dressed up, and in a perfect mood! Seeing the spectacular opening, everybody moved on to the different dancing floors, with music ranging from classical to hits coming back occasionally to our CEMS table. Some stayed even till 5 am to dance the final waltz! The brunch on Sunday was an excellent opportunity to meet again and share the experiences of the fantastic night. CEMS Local Alumni Chapter Austria and the CEMS Club Vienna would like to use this opportunity to invite all of you to the 22nd edition of the CEMS Waltzing Days 2026 in January next year (9-11 January 2026 – save the date!). They are preparing a special event and would be happy to welcome you to the heart of Vienna.
