Key points

MIM programme at this school

CEMS MIM at SGH is built on the strengths of the university which are (among the others):

  • a portfolio of exceptional lecturers with business and international experience,
  • very strong practical approach,
  • good ties with business environment.

Therefore, SGH offers both academic and practical-oriented CEMS courses. The latter ones are developed and delivered with or by company experts, which is SGH unique selling point. The companies offering such courses are McKinsey & Company, Procter & Gamble, L'Oreal, Mastercard, Deloitte. There will be more to offer in the coming years. All courses in Term 1 end in December, before Xmas (regular courses end in January). Skill seminars are mostly developed with companies, but there is no fixed list of them. All information and messages concerning CEMS MIM at SGH are best available via our dedicated CEMS webpage at SGH: www.sgh.waw.pl/cems/

Living in the city

Warsaw, with over 2 million inhabitants, is the capital (since 1596) and the largest city in Poland. It is one of the fastest growing and vibrant cities in Europe, offering lots of attractions and quality life 24-hours a day. “You will never get bored” is our motto! It is also a city with many parks and forest areas, and a city of young people and students (300,000). Unlike Poland, which is relatively homogeneous country, Warsaw is quite cosmopolitan and liberal city. Thanks to well-developed public transport, it is quite easy to find moderately priced housing off-campus. Warsaw is also a perfect getaway to explore Poland and Europe. The living cost in Warsaw, compared to other capital cities is also very competitive.

CEMS Club Warsaw

CEMS Club Warsaw (CCW) belongs to the most active organization both at SGH and within CEMS Student Board. It is also in the group of the CEMS Student Board founders. The flagship events organised by CCW are: V4 Conference, WARRoom consulting conference, Emerging Markets Business Summit or CEMS Chance – CSR project. It was voted CEMS Club of the Year Award in 2010.
