What Makes Us Special?

SSE is the leading business school in Sweden founded over 110 years ago. We provide research-based education with a close tie to the business community and many of our researchers are among the leading figures in their respective fields.

SSE offers programs of the highest international standards, including Bachelor, Master, PhD, MBA and Executive Education programs. Our programs are developed in close cooperation with the research and business communities, which give our graduates great potential to attain leading positions in companies and other Organizations world-wide.

What to Expect on Campus

The Stockholm School of Economics is located in the centre of Stockholm at Sveavägen 65. You will find the main entrance on the other side of the building at Bertil Ohlins Gata 4. Please note that this entrance is wheelchair accessible.

The nearest metro station is Rådmansgatan (green line) and a bus stop named Handelshögskolan is located just outside of the entrance on Sveavägen (bus 57).

Living in the City

The Stockholm region is not only ranked number one for innovation, intellectual capital, sustainability, and safety, but it is also globally celebrated as an entrepreneurial ‘hotspot’, constantly giving birth to new groundbreaking ventures, from Skype to Spotify and from King.com to Acne.

Located between the Baltic Sea and Lake Mälaren, Stockholm is also known as the "beauty on the water".  The city is clean, green and inviting.

CEMS Club Stockholm

The CEMS Club at SSE provides a variety of activities and welcomes all CEMS students to take an active part in the Club. SSE’s student association (SASSE) is one of the most active student associations in Scandinavia and the CEMS club engages in this dynamic organization, which provides our students a great number of activities and an extensive network.

Why choose us for your CEMS MIM Programme?

SSE has one of the largest student cohorts among the CEMS schools but is itself one of the smallest member institutions in terms of students. This facilitates close and familiar contact between students, faculty and staff. SSE has a remarkably close relationship with the business and industry community in Sweden. As a CEMS student at SSE you can also engage  with SSE’s 110 corporate partners besides the extensive CEMS network of corporate and social partners.
