What Makes Us Special ?

Founded in 1905 as the department of plutology, Korea University Business School (KUBS) was the first business educational institute to be established in the nation. KUBS is the center of business research in Korea as well as a cradle for the fostering of leaders who contribute to the development of the country and the people.

Currently in the 21st century, KUBS has gone beyond being the best in Korea to becoming a world-class business school. After being the first in the nation to earn 5-year re-accreditations for both AACSB and EQUIS, the two most prestigious international business education accreditations, KUBS has also ranked No. 38 in an average of the past three years in UK “Financial Times (FT) Global Top 100 Executive MBA Rankings” (No. 1 in Korea), reaffirming its international positioning in the world.

What to Expect on Campus

The Korea University Business School (KUBS) campus provides an exceptional academic environment, meticulously designed to foster learning and collaboration. Its educational facilities are at the forefront of digital technology, seamlessly integrating the latest advancements to create highly effective pedagogical structures. Classrooms are thoughtfully designed to optimize communication, promoting dynamic interaction and engagement between lecturers and students. Furthermore, the modern buildings are equipped to support flexible online and offline hybrid courses, ensuring adaptability and accessibility for all learners.

The campus's evolution reflects a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation. Its architectural journey began with the construction of the Main Building in 1972, laying the foundational stone for what would become a leading business school. This was followed by the significant addition of the LG-POSCO Building, a testament to the school's growth and a grand commemoration of its 100th anniversary. In 2013, a third KUBS building was constructed, designed to embody a new paradigm of convergence, signifying a forward-thinking approach to education that integrates diverse disciplines and ideas. This ongoing development ensures that KUBS remains a cutting-edge institution, providing its students with an unparalleled learning experience.
