What Makes Us Special?
NHH Norwegian School of Economics is one of the leading business schools in Europe. NHH has an internationally recognized research environment and is the first choice for students who want to study business administration in Norway.
In close cooperation with the business community and society, we are developing new knowledge and creating values for a sustainable future.
NHH has an international profile and cooperates with 180 universities and business schools in more than 50 countries. We have more than 3,400 students and 400 employees.
The student union is very strong in NHH and they create events almost on a daily basis throughout the year. Anything from business symposiums to choir nights. From huge shows to football tournaments.
Situated on a hillside outside Bergen overlooking the fjord, NHH is a wonderful place to study. New facilities welcome all students to feel at home!
What to Expect on Campus

The Service Center provides academic assistance and counseling, while the library offers a vast collection of resources and study spaces. Students have 24/7 access to study halls and computer rooms using their student cards, and can reserve collaboration rooms for group work.
For health and wellness, the Sammen fitness center on campus provides workout facilities, and the Sammen organization offers health, career, and counseling services, including psychological support and courses. Campus dining options include a canteen and coffee corner. Additionally, a relaxation room and nursing room are available, and the student ombudsman offers independent support and advice.
Living in the City
Known as the gateway to the Norwegian fjords, handsome Bergen is a lively city famed for its variety of museums and galleries, trendsetting music scene, and huge choice of eateries offering local delicacies (such as fish cakes and cinnamon buns). The city’s colorful harbor has been a hub for commerce and trade for centuries and these days Bryggen, its oldest quarter, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bergen has expanded over the centuries and is now home to nearly 300,000 residents who enjoy an excellent quality of life. Surrounded by seven hills and seven fjords, Bergen is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, and it has a thriving cultural scene too. With more than 30,000 students it is a vibrant city full of life. The closeness to nature makes everybody a nature enthusiast. Hiking is a must and you can walk out from your dorm and be in the mountains within minutes.
And of course, we have rain! Lots of rain, but it gives you the superpower to enjoy the sunshine when it is there and to go hiking - no matter the weather.
